Freestyle Submission Guidelines
We welcome submissions from Latino music artists worldwide. All entries are reviewed with care, but only select videos will be published. Final decisions are based on what best aligns with the vision of the platform and our audience.
How to Record Your Freestyle ?
Step 1.
Use a Good Camera or Phone
Shoot in HD (1080p or higher). A phone works — just make sure the quality is sharp.
Step 2.
Turn Your Phone Sideways
Hold your phone in landscape (horizontal) mode — not straight up and down.
Step 3.
Record the Full Freestyle
Give us the whole performance.
Step 4.
Choose Your Angle
Stick with one shot or change it up — as long as it feels intentional.
Step 5.
Use Final Audio
Don’t record live audio. Use a mixed and mastered track and lip-sync the words.
Step 6.
Keep the Shot Clean
Good lighting. Simple light background (white or light grey). Let the focus stay on you. Natural light is best.
Step 7.
Center Yourself
Stay in the middle of the frame. Use the rule of thirds to keep it balanced.
Step 8.
Intro At the start of your video: 1. Say your name. 2. Share where you're from and the city you represent. 3. Give a shoutout to Paper and Plastic right after your intro
Step 9.
Submit Your Video
We appreciate every artist who shares their work with us. While we value all forms of expression, we do our best to maintain a consistent look, sound, and feel that reflects the Paper and Plastic brand. Submissions are reviewed with respect, but not all will be selected for publication.
